CELEBRATING 33 YEARS OF DANCING IN NASHVILLE IN 2026!!

The Nashville Swing Dance Club holds classes 3 times a week every week and provides a wonderful learning atmosphere for all the partnership dances from Swing to Country to Ballroom and to Latin.  Our classes are geared towards learning to dance on all levels from beginner to advanced in a special way while providing an unmatched social environment in which to learn how to dance and have fun in the process.  Everyone is welcome at any or all of our classes whether you are a member or an honored guest or whether you have a partner or are single.  Our classes always feature partner rotation, recommended but not mandatory, to insure that everybody has a chance to constantly dance with someone on all levels to help the learning process.  Dancing will always be an activity that you can do your whole life providing a special enjoyment that only dancing can bring while serving as an enjoyable source of great physical exercise.  Always remember that when you dance you smile and that alone will always make life better!    

Our Monday classes at the Brentwood Skate Center are always an hour long on a beginner level and run in 4 week cycles, with a new beginner dance every four weeks.  The Monday classes are geared towards building a solid foundation in a particular dance while making it fun, simple and exciting to learn.  Monday classes are included in the door admission to the skate center which is $11 per person for members and $14 per person for guests.  Please refer to the calendar page for an up-to-date listing of all classes being taught.  Doors open on Mondays at 5:00pm for general dancing before class begins at 7:30pm, and general dancing resumes after class ends at 8:30pm until 10:00pm.  

After 4 weeks of a particular dance at the Skate Center, that dance then moves to our Trevecca location on Trevecca's college campus here in Nashville on Tuesdays for 8 more weeks in the same dance, 4 of which are intermediate and 4 of which are advanced, with each dance class being an hour long at a cost of $15 per person.  So any dance that starts on a Monday will go 12 straight weeks before it's entire series run is concluded.    

Friday night classes are always 2 hour workshops at a cost of $30 per person that highlight a different dance each week on the advanced level.  Friday night workshops can also be used to specially highlight a dance on the beginner or intermediate level when necessary.  

Again, YOU DO NOT NEED A PARTNER AT ANY OF OUR CLASSES!  We always encourage changing partners to facilitate a more efficient level of learning and so that everyone has a chance to dance with a partner on all levels.
